Factors Affecting Audiences in Individual Communication Systems
- Environment: Surrounding of an individual
- The social setting: Whether the people are literate or illiterate; rich or poor in the group.
- Educational background: An educated man is more efficient in communication.
- Reference group: The effect of doing something in one field may also effect in other field. Eg. Insecticide applications may affect non-target objects like birds, snacks, and other wild animals.
- Locally group: Example; Thakali tribes treat differently in a particular subject in comparison to Tharus.
- Serial relationship: Serial relationships in organization involve people who act as relay or, passing information from one or more originating sources to a third party
- Peer relationship: peers inform one another about job requirements or tasks, and the advice they exchange is often less threatening than the superordinate or boss’s evaluation.
- Social group: Socio- A group is formed due to the socio-economic category of rich and poor. The way of communication will be different for different social groups.
- Social functionaries: The message may be general and technical. Eg. 0.1 c.c./liter of 50 EC. Metasystox 10 times for rice bugs is difficult to understand by farmers. It is the technical message.
- Meta-communication: The parties to an interpersonal relationship often assume that their relationship between them is not something that requires examination
- Interpersonal reflex: interpersonal behavior is not only pushed by internal needs. People also pull behavior from each other.
