t-test
- Its purpose is to find out if there is significant difference between two sets of data.
- Height of boys and girls at different age : unpaired ( means two sample aren’t related).
- Marks obtained by students in different subject : Paired ( means samples are related)
- To test difference in means for two small samples ( n<30) from population that are approximately normal.
- To test the linear dependence to check if the two samples are unrelated/ independent.
- Used for continuous variable.
