Citrus leaf miner ( Phyllocnistis citrella, phyllocnistidae, Lepidoptera)

Damaging stage:- Larva

Damaging symptom:- Mining of leaves feed mesophyll.

Identification:-

  • Egg:- Inside leaf, through
  • Larva:- yellow .
  • Pupa:- Inside leaves
  • Adult – Silvery white color with winged fringed with long hair .

Management:-

  • Collect and destroy the infected leaves.
  • Spray neem cake solution as repellent.
  • Eco–citrus leaf minor traps to capture males.
  • Remove sucker
  • Metasystok 25% EC @ 1 M/l
