ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

• The surroundings of a physical system may interact with the system by exchanging mass, energy, or other properties.
• The surroundings or conditions in which a person, animal, or plant lives or
• The natural world, as a whole or in a particular geographical area, is especially affected by human activity.
• Simply Environmental pollution refers to the introduction of any harmful substance i.e. pollutants into the environment.
• Environmental pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse changes, in the form of killing of life, the toxicity of the environment, and damage to the ecosystem and aesthetics of our surroundings.
• Environmental pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that causes adverse effects. Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy such as noise, heat, or light.
