  1. Single and Double-Entry System
  • It permits the allocation of receipts and expenses in each major broad heading
  • It is complicated and required more knowledge and involves more details
  • Whereas in single entry system there is no allocation of income and expenses and therefore it is popular in farmer’s level

 

  1. Cash or Actual (addition) system
  • Expenses are deducted in the year they are paid
  • In actual system only income is included no matter of payment received.
  • Again, in accrual system does not care whether paid or not paid.
