  • Elements are the parameters that make us understand the function of the system
  • The elements of the farming system are: Components, Input, Process, Output, and boundary.

 

a) Components (WHAT the system is made?): interacting constituents of the system

 

b) Input (WHAT goes into the system?): the raw materials used in a system

 

c) Process (HOW the system works?): A sequence of changes occurs in the properties of the system which changes input into output

 

d) Output (WHAT comes out of a system?): Product of a system

e) Boundary (WHERE does the system work?): immediate vicinity that separates a system from its environment
