About Lesson
Irrigation/water management
- Raised majorly as rainfed crop.
- Excess irrigation enhances vegetative growth and reduce grain yield.
- Avoid sprinkler irrigation.
- Two irrigation, one each at branching and pod forming stages.
Weeds and their management
- Cause 40-100% loss.
- Includes:
a) Chenopodium album
b) Lathyrus sp
c) Vicia sativa
d) Phalaris minor
