Intestinal Mucosa

  • The intestinal mucosa produces secretin and pancreozymin, which are controlled by the nervous system and regulate pancreatic secretion. Secretin affects the flow of enzyme-carrying liquids from the pancreas, whereas pancreozymin accelerates the flow of zymogens.
