Gaseous formulations
a. Dry fumigants:
- Insecticides are used as dry solids which, come in contact with the atmosphere, liberate toxic gases, and are deposited on the surface as fine particles.
- The tablet of Aluminum Phosphide is used to control stored grain pests.
b. Liquid fumigants:
- Fumigants are most often formulated as liquid carbon disulfide and carbon tetrachloride are colorless liquids used for stored grain pests.
