A way to reduce the negative impact of pesticide

  • Pesticides should be used only when it is essential. The non-chemical method of pest control should be encouraged.
  • Only recommended pesticides should be applied at the right time and the prescribed dose.
  • Preference should be given to the use of less persistent pesticides. Never use banded pesticides.
  • Ripe fruit and vegetables should be picked before pesticide application and a waiting period should follow.
  • Should follow the waiting period, residual effect, etc.
